Cargoguide in a nutshell

We are a software service company based in Utrecht, that develops their own product: “Cargo Office”.

Founded by two brothers Jorre Cobelens and Iwert Cobelens in 2003. The vision was to create an efficient solution for managing and comparing freight rates that would revolutionize the industry.

Today, ‘Cargoguide International B.V.’ has 25 employees in-house with over 10 different nationalities and Cargo Office is used by over a thousand freight forwarding companies Worldwide and has over 7.000 daily active users.

Since Sept. 2017 we have joined the WiseTech Global Group (ASX:WTC). Publicly listed, WiseTech Global is a leading developer and provider of software solutions to the logistics execution industry.

Cargoguide’s two main activities are: ‘Software development’ and ‘Rate management’ for our customers.

As technical mastermind, Iwert was singlehandedly responsible for the development of Cargo Office Air and Cargo Office Ocean. Since then the development team has grown to five in-house dev’s and we are eagerly looking for smart minds to help complete our brand-new version, simply called Cargoguide.

We have a lot of exciting things on the horizon! Including, interactive Ad hoc bidding platform, Dynamic pricing and allocation, Gamification and a Mobile App.
