e-Rate sheet
The eRate file type has been developed to allow air cargo companies and forwarding agents to exchange rates. e-Rate was introduced in 2003 by a workgroup comprising various airlines, forwarding agents and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). To make this exchange file as widely accepted as possible, the workgroup opted for the Microsoft Excel file format.
Managing rates has never been so easy
Using Cargo Office, rates can be quickly and simply imported, added and managed. The standard eRate specifications are used when importing rate information. The software checks whether the data complies with the e-Rate standards. The application automatically corrects know errors or notifies you about any deviations, with deviating information being marked in red. This lets you see precisely which information has to be corrected.
In addition to importing rates, you can also perform amendments and additions directly in the Cargo Office management module. Anyone who works with Microsoft Office will feel right at home with the way the Cargo Office application works, as the functionalities are identical. You can do a simple search and replace, or make changes directly in selected rows in the Properties screen..
