Flight schedules
You found a rate but is my shipment within two day in Hongkong?
Innovata provides Cargoguide with timetable information for Cargo Office. Cargo Office uses this information to generate routing information from station of origin to the destination station. When generating a flight schedule and route, Cargo Office takes into account the number of legs, minimum ground time, duration of flight, etc.
Generating routing information allows Cargo Office to directly link the routing to the airfreight rates. To view the routing information, open the Flight days band- the flight day columns are numbered from one to seven. Cargo Office compares several flight options per carrier and summarizes the results in the flight day columns. The corresponding day for every departure day that is operated by the carrier is visible.
The flight day columns only show you the operating days of the carrier. You can view the flight details by clicking on an operating day or the Flight schedule tab in the rate information panel. Cargo Office displays flight options and is optimized to show you all possible operating days. This results in the availability of routed flights and direct flights, although in most cases the direct flight is preferable due to flight duration and ground time.
Cargo Office flight schedules contain the following information fields:
- Airline code
- The number of legs
- Flight number
- Effective period
- Flight days
- Local departure and arrival time
- Departure and arrival station including the UTC time zone
- Aircraft type
- Distance and duration
- Additional operating information
Routing
Cargo Office shows both direct and routed flights in one clear overview. The number of legs is displayed behind the airline column. In case a route has multiple legs, the expand sign in front of every row is enabled. Click the Expand button to view detailed leg information.
