Change the way Cargo Office connects to the web server.

Connections

To ensure that you receive regular updates, the application needs to connect to the Cargo Office web servers. Go to your firewall settings to allow the application to connect to the web. In some cases, proxy servers prohibit Cargo Office to connect to the web server. Open the Configuration window and select the Connections page to change your proxy settings.

You can change the connection to the Cargo Office web server and test your connection status by pressing the appropriate button in the connection page

Online rates

At the right bottom corner of the main window you will find the option to switch between a local database connection and the Cargo Office web service. Click on the Online rates button to directly load the rate information from the Cargo Office web server. The advantage of using the online rates option is the increased performance in slow local networks and 100% reliable and accurate rate information.
