Mouse tooltips

The first time you start Cargo Office, we recommend you practice searching rates by selecting different airlines, destinations and cities. The results of your selection will be displayed in a grid overview. The rate information is ordered in columns which are grouped by common meaning in grid bands.

To emphasize special events or types for a rate, some rows have icons in the first two columns. Move the mouse pointer over the icon to display the matching hint information.

Once you have selected a row, the information in the bottom tab panels will change. Click on the different tabs to find more information about the carrier, headquarters, conditions, warehouse and schedules.

Simple calculation

To perform calculations with Cargo Office, start with a simple weight break calculation. Fill in the volume weight input field at the top; 480 kg. Confirm with ENTER or click somewhere in the rate overview window. After confirmation, Cargo Office calculates the best weight break and price. The weight break calculation takes into account the minimum price, surcharges, actual and volume weight.

Multiple row selection

You can select multiple rows in Cargo Office by pressing the keyboard keys CTRL or SHIFT and marking additional rows to add to your selection. If multiple rows are selected, an average of the selected rows will appear in the footer of the grid fields. Using multiple selections is very useful if you want to print, export or add your selection to ‘My Selection’ for later use.
