Tariff properties


The most important rate fields are editable in the grid. For special fields like; ULD information, Basic rate and Custom surcharges please press the Properties column in the grid. A panel at the bottom of the screen opens.
  • Basic rate, check the basic rate option; if the value in the minimum weight field should be calculated as starting tariff.

  • Custom surcharges are fields for exceptions to the general published surcharges. The Custom surcharges with value zero are displayed in Cargo Office as “All in Rates”.
If a rate contains information available in the property panel a asterix (*) symbol is placed before the Properties link.

Rate classification

Forwarder agents can manage their own contractual airfreight tariffs. To distinguish differences between your own managed rates and the rates published by the carriers you can attach an icon to the tariff line. This changes the tariff classification in a user managed rate.
To change the rate class, select a cell in the Class column. Press the dropdown arrow to open the rate class option menu. Select the required flag to change your rate class.

Extra tariff fields

Cargo Office rate management grid displays only the most common fieldnames. In addition a number of fields are edited in the Extra properties window. To open the panel click the ULD cell in the grid or the ULD Properties button at the right bottom of your screen.
In the panel you can change the ULD information and add a basic rate to your rate definition. With a basic rate you change your Minimum value to a starting price and every weight price adds to this value.
