The easiest way to search your rates is by filling in the destination airport. Select the Destination Airport textbox by clicking in it. A hint box with destination suggestions based on airport codes, city codes and airport names will appear once you start typing in the textbox,
Confirm your selection with the ENTER key. An update is in progress message will appear. This indicates that Cargo Office is searching for new rates.

You can start a search in Cargo Office by using the following parameters:
  • Airport code, the three-letter IATA approved code for an airport.
  • City code, if multiple airports are situated in a city. For example, you will need to use the three-letter city code SAO as Destination city instead of the airport codes GRU or VCP when you search for all rates to Sao Paulo.
  • Airline code, by providing the two-letter code for the airline. Please take into account longer loading times resulting from the large number of rates thatsome carriers have provided to the Cargo Office system.

Filters and sorting

The Cargo Office grid that displays your search results does not use a paging system. All tariffs are immediately visible in a clear and complete overview. Click on the column header to change the sorting column and direction.
You can apply additional filter in the Column filter row if the number of rows exceeds the expected results. Filters can be applied to the carrier code, name and destination codes. Click on the Clear filter button to remove the column filters and reload the results.

1. Select all rows button
2. Column names and sorting buttons.
3. Column filter row with the Clear filter button.
4. Filter textbox with filter value.

Customize search results

A search in Cargo Office is applied to all rates available in a country by default. To limit your search to special rate types, click on the Search All Rates button to open the rate type. Click on one of the following radio buttons to change your results:

  • Search in all rates is the default value.
  • Show promotional rates; all promotional rates are displayed. Use the Column filter row to limit the results.
  • Show ad-hoc rates.
  • Show my rates; shows your personal rates.
Cargo Office allows you to save some primary filter parameters like station of origin and product filter. Click on the Product Filter button to open the product class menu. Uncheck the product classes that you do not want to have included in your search results. Click on the Close Window button to apply your filters and reload the results.

The Station Origin button opens a menu containing all stations of origin available in your licensed region. Uncheck all stations of origin that you do not serve and should be left out of your search results. The ‘ZZZ’ code can’t be unchecked; this value represents all stations of origin within a country.

Currency and exchange rates

In some countries different carriers use multiple currencies to publish their rates. The disadvantage of using multiple currencies within a country is the difficulty to compare rates in one overview. Cargo Office overcomes this problem by having the option of converting the rates into a single exchange rate. Cargo Office uses the European Central Bank exchange rates.

Select the desired exchange rate in the Currency dropdown menu. Cargo Office reloads all the affected rates in a currency different from the original published rate. These are recognizable by the purple currency code.
