Import rates

In case you received rates from a carrier you can import them directly to Cargo Office. Cargo Office supports the import from two kinds of Excel formats:

eRate sheet format.
Custom Excel formats use the import wizard to add new rates. The wizard allows you to select ranges and overwrite original values with new default values.

Import wizard

Adding rates by using the import wizard is useful for importing lists of rates stored in a Microsoft Excel format. The Wizard allows you to select the worksheet, range and columns from the source file. Using the wizard is already useful if you have information about destination, carrier and the weight breaks.

Define the data range by selecting the first row of your worksheet. Click the First column has column names if you want the wizard to use the column headings as fieldnames.

The wizard interface automatically matches Microsoft Excel columns with Cargo Office table layout. The user can then make changes such as adjusting pre-matched columns, specifying fixed column value or ignore column.
