Surcharges overview

The Surcharges module gives you a full overview of all current valid charges. Click the tab panel header Surcharges to open a new grid View with all effective surcharges.
A surcharge is defined by the following fields:

  • IATA, the airline carrier code.
  • Type, fuel or security surcharge.
  • Airport, destination station the surcharge applies to ("ZZZ", all destinations).
  • Region, whether the surcharge is valid for a designated region.
  • Zone, whether the surcharge is valid for a designated world zone.
  • Surcharge, minimum fee and fee per unit (kg).
  • How to apply the surcharge, actual weight (aw) or chargeable weight (cw).
  • Effective from date.

In the surcharges grid View you have the same capabilities to filter the result as in the rates View. Switch between the fuel and security surcharges with the toolbar buttons.

History

A chart with the historical changes in the surcharges for the selected airline is displayed at the bottom.

You can zoom in on the chart's diagram by using your mouse wheel or by pressing and holding the CTRL key while pressing the “+” key. Scrolling in a chart's diagram can only be done if a chart is already zoomed in. After clicking a chart's diagram with the left mouse button, your mouse pointer will be changed into a grabbing hand. You can now move the chart's diagram by holding your left mouse button and moving your mouse.

Print

To print multiple rows, select them in the View and then click the Print preview button. A report window opens with a preview of your selected surcharges. Click the Print button to print the report.

You can print historical surcharges of a selected airline by pressing the Print fuel surcharges carrier button.
